Recoding America envisions American government that reliably delivers outcomes in a fast-changing world. We're catalyzing the cross-ideological movement that is building a more effective operating model for government. We are building a field that collectively pursues structural reform at federal and state levels that enable government to test, learn, and adapt and turn policy goals into meaningful outcomes. We are a hybrid 501(c)(3) / 501(c)(4) non-profit organization inspired by Jen Pahlka's book, Recoding America: Why Government Is Failing in the Digital Age and How We Can Do Better; Jen co-founded the organization and chairs our board.
